Come Cook In The Jungle
Cooking in the jungle is an awesome experience. When you stay at Nature’s Edge you not only have a kitchenette in your room but also a shared outdoor oasis know as Terraza de Alma. A visit to our jungle oasis coral pool deck and rancho will have you surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. Our outdoor kitchen, living room and shimmering saltwater pool is the perfect place to get in touch with your love for nature. We have thought of all your needs for cooking the perfect meal. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 6-burner stovetop, oven, microwave, and barbeque grill, and is stocked with the following;
- Small appliances (coffee pot, blender, toaster, and griddle)
- Oil for cooking, salt, pepper, and other spices (when left over from previous guests)
- Serving items (pitchers, salad bowl, platters, large spoons and forks)
- Food prep items (cheese grater, measuring cups and spoons, whisk, peeler, spatulas, tongs, cutting boards/knives, corkscrew/bottle opener, salad spinner, colander, and funnel)
- Cooking items (fry pans, sauce pans, stock pot, cookie sheets, and teapot)
- Service ware – large assortment of dishes, drinking cups, wine tumblers, plates, and silverware
- Storage containers
At Nature’s Edge we have made cooking in the jungle easy. You’ll be swept away by the jungle surround and the every changing views of the mountains and clouds in the distance. Not to mention the far off view of the Osa Peninsula and the ocean in the distance.

The Jungle Surrounds You
Nature’s Edge is located in the jungle canopies of the Uvita Mountain. We are 1200 feet above the sea and offer a jungle chic experience like no other. Many guests have expressed that pictures don’t do us justice and the hotel is more amazing in person. All rooms offer a jungle view all around you. Additionally, our upper ridge casitas offer partial ocean views and our lower ridge offer mountain and cloud forest views. Everywhere you look around there will be vast every changing vistas of the jungle, mountains or ocean.
Where Is Nature’s Edge
We are located in The Costa Ballena Region of Costa Rica on The Southern Pacific Side of the country. The jungle and mountains meet the sea throughout this nature lovers playground. Nature’s Edge is in the town of Uvita. Marino Ballena National Park and the famous Whales Tail are both located in Uvita. You are only 1 hour away from Manuel Antonio National Park and 2 1/2 hours away (car/boat) from Corcovado National Park.
