La vue depuis les bungalows (qui sont des maisons - casitas - individuelles) sur le jungle est époustouflante et le confort est ... incroyable. La piscine un régal et la terrasse, parfaite. Ils ont pensé à tout pour un confort maximal et il n'y a juste qu'à se laisser ... VIVRE ... Pura Vida, vraiment ! Le petit déjeuner cuisiné par le chef cuisinier ... délicieux et si départ matinal pour une excursion, ils vous préparent un petit déjeuner à emporter. Ils vous réservent les activités souhaitées, rapides, efficaces et super professionnels ! L'emplacement est, à nouveau, parfait, en hauteur = calme absolu et en même temps proche du centre Uvita où toutes les commodités et restaurants - excellents d'ailleurs - sont à disposition. Je donne un 11 - vraiment - sur 10 comme note sur Booking 🙂 😞 - Absolument RIEN !

Eden-like From our initial contact to our last goodbye our experience at Nature’s Edge Hotel was virtual perfection. Keith was excellent at all aspects of communication throughout the entire process. Joe as chief host and chef made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail in suggesting our excursions and making sure we were comfortable while on the grounds was extraordinary. All this says nothing of the beauty and serenity of the resort. The variety and beauty of plant and animal life on the grounds is the closest to Eden that I will ever come.

Urlaub im Dschungel-Paradies 😀 - Die Casita Palmas war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen tollen Ausblick! Die offene Gemeinschaftsküche am Pool war gut ausgestattet und bot auch einen tollen Blick über den Dschungel bis zum Meer! Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe unter Beachtung von Allergien von Joe und Keith zubereitet. Bei sehr frühem Aufbruch zu Touren bekamen wir Smoothies und Joes leckeres Banana bread!!! Beide Manager waren mega nett, hilfsbereit bei der Planung und Buchung von Touren und hatten gute Restauranttipps! Schon vor der Anreise waren die beiden jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar und beantworteten alle meine Fragen ausführlich!!! Absolute Weiterempfehlung! 😞 - Alles perfekt!

Amazing Week in Costa Rica! We had an amazing week at Natures Edge! The views from the hotel were amazing - right in the middle of the jungle with a view of the ocean and gorgeous jungle wildlife! The rooms were beautiful and relaxing and made it feel like a true tropical vacation getaway. The pool and kitchen were a great touch. The accommodations and services provided by Joe and Keith were outstanding with daily breakfast, tips for local spots, and excellent communication throughout the process. There was so much to do in the surrounding area - we loved going to the waterfalls, seeing animals on the mangrove tour, and the atv tour was awesome! Highly recommend!!

Un coin de paradis 😀 - Un véritable coin de paradis au milieu de la jungle. La chambre est grande avec tous les équipements et le confort nécessaire mais surtout, la vue est incroyable. On peut rester plusieurs heures à contempler et écouter dans le hamac sur la terrasse. Le best reste l’accueil très chaleureux et l’attention en tout point de Keith et Joe. Un immense merci à eux de nous avoir accueilli comme leurs amis. C’était nos 2 dernières nuits du voyage et nous avons pu nous imprégner une dernière fois de l’ambiance du pays dans un confort excellent. Pas de tracas pour la route, si 4x4 ça se fait très bien. Prévoir de rester manger sur place, soit en commandant, soit en cuisinant (cuisine très fine équipée juste à côté de la piscine) 😞 - None

Un petit coin de paradis avec des propriétaires très gentils Perché dans les hauteurs d’Uvita, l’hôtel est au calme dans la jungle. La chambre et les prestations qu’elle offre sont de très bonnes qualités. Tout sent bon ! La vue est juste incroyable. Nous avons été accueilli par Joe et Keith comme si nous étions de leur famille. Ils sont aux petits soins et sont présents si nous avons besoin de quoi que ce soit. Pour nos derniers jours au Costa Rica, tout était parfait.

Paradise with personal touch We had been a most marvelous visit at Keith and Joe’s slice of paradise. The hotel is the perfect combination of elegance and comfort with no pretension. There is access to adventure and the wonder of nature, while returning to beautiful sheets in a comfortable bed. I like having some intimate community with friendly guests and hosts at a delicious breakfast - the experience is more personal than at a larger hotel, while being less lonely than being in an airbnb. I can’t even adequately describe the beauty. We identified half a dozen vibrant birds at the hotel. I sit in the rocking chair on the balcony, enjoying the soft air and the chirps, squawks, and trills of birds. The hosts kindly supported me when my family member spiked a fever and I was considering driving to a hospital in an unfamiliar environment. The hosts helped put my mind at ease. All Ticos we have interacted with - whether it be a tour guide, a restaurant chef, or a pharmacist - have been kind, easy-going and accommodating. Pura Vida!!

The view from the casitas was amazing, with uninterrupted forest in which we saw coatis, toucans, and other smaller birds. We enjoyed our time here so much that rather than going anywhere on our last full day in Costa Rica, we spent the day by the pool.

Wonderful place in the mountains with very nice hosts The rooms are very nice and very clean, you can hear and see lots of different birds. The hosts Keith & Joe are amazing, very kind, very helpful and their breakfast is delicious. Everything is very well managed. It‘s a wonderful place for relaxation.

Dschungelluxus am Pazific 😀 - Dies war die beste Unterkunft unserer Reise, wirklich ein Traum: Sehr sympathischer persönlicher Kontakt mit den Gastgebern. Leckeres frisch zubereitetes Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Traumblick. In den Casitas wunderbarer Komfort, tolle Aussicht und überall Tiere zur Beobachtung- Die Casitas sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet - außerdem an Alles gedacht - Kaffee. Tee, Snacks. Kerzen…Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt- wie ein Besuch bei Freunden. Von der Lage her perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Ungebung, so schade dass wir nur 2 Nächte eingeplant hatten! Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Zeit in eurem Paradies Keith und Joe! 😞 - Die Unterkunft war perfekt- Wie ja auch schon zuvor angekündigt war die Anreise mit unserem vollbesetzten normalen Mietwagen SuV 4x4 ein bisschen herausfordernd… falls möglich ein bisschen mehr „Power“und/ oder grobstollige Reifen wählen- dann ist es entspannter. ( Das gilt aber auch grundsätzlich für Costa Rica‘s Straßen - falls man von den Hauptrouten abweicht)

A corner of paradise We spent two heavenly days in this hotel nestled in the heights and lush vegetation. We hear the songs of the birds and were able to observe many toucans, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, squirrels, coatis, toads, frogs etc! A true haven of peace to end our wonderful trip. The owners are very welcoming and warm and are full of nice little touches. Breakfast is varied and changes every day, by the swimming pool. We leave with regret and would have liked to extend a few more nights. Thank you Keith and Jo for your welcome!!

Stunning views, friendly hosts – little slice of paradise 😀 - Joe and Keith run a truly wonderful set of casitas with a gorgeous pool and stunning views of the surrounding hillsides. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, especially with their recommendations on places to eat and day trips to take. The Sierpe mangrove tour they pointed us to was a highlight of our stay - but you could also just sit and enjoy the views surrounded by toucans (7 in the tree next to our casita at one point!) This is the absolute best place to stay! Nature's Edge is the absolute best place to stay in this wonderful tropical paradise. The 'casitas' are so comfortable, and stylish and spotless. We loved having a kitchenette to further meet our food and drink needs besides delicious breakfasts in the outdoor kitchen by the pool, excellent local restaurants, some of which even have delivery service right to your door. The expansive view of the rainforest right outside on our deck was breathtaking! We saw so many different kinds of birds and flowers and some mammals too. Owners Joe and Keith were right there on sight and were so very helpful. They gave us wonderful suggestions for sightseeing and helped us find and book great tours around the area. We had a fantastic time!

Amazing experience at Nature's Edge in Uvita, CR Remarkable location with beautiful encounters with toucans and other interesting critters; the facilities were perfect; Joe and Keith are great hosts with great ideas for local adventures and stories; all the food was great but the banana bread was exceptional. This was our second trip to Nature's Edge and will go again.

Tree top heaven Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel is a real gem of a place. From our arrival to our departure, the hosts Keith and Joe were welcoming, caring and helpful in every possible way: think American by birth, Tico in approach. Location, being at tree-top level, is truly magical, an oasis of calm and peace, filled with birds’ songs and monkeys ‘ howls. Our accommodation was impeccable and everything we could possibly need was thought of. My favourite was just sitting on a veranda taking in the views! The outdoor pool and dining area is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and all home made. We loved the remoteness of the location, it somewhat made it more magical and adventurous just to reach it. You need a good 4x4 but the journey is absolutely worth it. We would definitely return and having stayed at a number of different locations during our travels in Costa Rica, this was our favourite accommodation. Courtesy of the unique setting Keith and Joe have created, this venue which feels off the beaten track, is at risk of becoming a well worn path!

Beautiful jungle retreat I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for a week while attending the Envision Festival. The hotel is situated over the hills of the jungle with beautiful views. A 4 x 4 car is required to reach the hotel but it is well worth the drive. The hotel is about a ten minute drive from the centre of Uvita. The individual homes are beautifully designed and decorated. The wonderful and charming hosts have thought of every detail and convenience that you could hope for. There is a kitchen, beautiful walk in shower, separate water closet, private patio with table chairs and hammock for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows and sheets were as good as any five star hotel I have stayed in, Breakfast is included and it is different every day and each meal was excellent. There is a beautiful pool with gorgeous views. All and all I had a wonderful, restful, rejuvenating stay. I will definitely return.

Es ist ein großartiges Fleckchen Erde zum Entspannen u ein guter Startpunkt für Aktivitäten wie zb Besuch des Corcovado NP. Das Frühstück wurde morgens direkt am Pool in der Outdoorküche zubereitet. Beide Betreiber sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit in der Organisation der Tripps. Auto 4x4 ist notwendig, die Anfahrt ist steil aber rel. breit. Lässt sich insgesamt aber gut hoch fahren. Es war ein großartiger 4 tägiger Aufenthalt dort. 😞 - Nichts

A little slice of paradise with the most amazing views. 😀 - We had such an incredible stay at Nature's Edge - the views are absolutely spectatular, and we were greeted by toucans in the morning at breakfast! There is such as lovely energy about the place too, very relaxing and tranquil. The pool was lovely and had great views too. Keith and Joe were fantastic hosts, who were happy to accomodate our vegan diet. They made us feel so welcome, and they have lots of helpful knowledge about the surrounding area. There's lots to do in the nearby area, including a waterfall walk on the way to the hotel. 😞 - There really wasn't anything we didn't like about this place! Trust them when they say you need a 4x4 though, the road up to the hotel is very steep and bumpy!

Cannot be beat Nature’s edge and its hosts cannot be beat! The physical setup was lovely & special - deserves 500 words by itself - but our hosts get the highest praise from helping us in advance to plan the trip to helping us enjoy every day. Great guys! Great local knowledge. Great breakfasts. Top marks all around with no reservations at all! We will return.

Perfect in every way. True paradise. Probably the best accommodation we stayed in during our 3 wonderful weeks in Costa Rica. A truly spectacular location, after braving the very steep bumpy road! The birdsong when we woke each morning was amazing. Keith and Joe were the most helpful and friendly hosts. Every detail within the room had been covered to make the stay absolutely perfect.

Keith and Joe have thought of everything to the smallest detail. Everything works and is in a fantastic condition and very clean. The king bed is so comfortable and they have high quality linen. The view is amazing. We would go back even just to relax on this terrace and enjoy the views and the birds. A 4x4 is needed but it's worth going up the mountain. It is not as hot as in town - we loved that. Joe cooks a wonderful breakfast every morning. Natures Edge is a great base for exploring the area. You can easily stay for 5 nights or longer without being bored. The only thing you won't like is when you have to leave. Price-performance ratio is fantastic. Look at other places in the area and you know what we are talking about. Keith and Joe are the nicest hosts you can imagine. Their communication is like nothing we experienced before. They help with everything even before you stay with them. They respect your privacy and are happy to share local recommendations. We liked that there was no TV. Because the casitas are partially open (with mosquito screens), we feared that there might be guests who didn't show much consideration for others and that the experience of nature could be spoiled by noise from other guests but the hosts have even thought of this and ask for quiet hours. We - and the other guests too - really appreciated that and loved listening to the birds. We would love to return more sooner than later and visit again. The other good thing - Natures Edge is not far from the best restaurant in Uvita - TRIBU. They have the best food in town, it is fine dining for a good price. Just try - you will love it!

The owners should write a manual for how to operate a CR accommodation Nothing like contrast to truly appreciate what you had. We just spent 7 nights at Nature’s Edge and have moved north for one more week in CR. Although the current beach is handier, Nature’s Edge is a vastly superior accommodation. Keith and Joe have gone to great lengths to individually address all their guests’ needs and I am so spoiled for what is lacking in our current pricier hotel. Seriously, their priority is their guests and bend over backwards to personalize the guest experience. By Day 2, they knew (there were 5 of us) each of our breakfast preferences and provided unparalleled amenities in the beautiful casitas. I mean, where in the world does one receive a complimentary pineapple ( GROWN on the property) in each room?!! I’ve also never been in such a setting where plastic containers are provided for compost and beach going? Want a yoga mat or don’t feel like going to your unit for forgotten sunscreen or insect repellant? No worries, Joe and Keith have thought of that, too! Others have exclaimed about the jungle setting , so I don’t need to repeat. It’s all true. Get yourself a hardy 4wd vehicle, listen to Joe and Keith’s advice about excursions, beaches and restaurants and you, too, will be spoiled and have lasting, fabulous memories.

Best Jungle Vibes Ever We stayed 8 days at this jungle paradise. Every night/morning was a mesmerizing sound explosion of birds, crickets, and monkeys. Joe and Keith set the gold standard for owners/innkeepers. The place was immaculately clean, well appointed and designed, the beds super comfortable and the linen highest quality. They were genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time, which we absolutely did. The drive up from the highway is very doable but requires a 4x4.

Magical Stay in the Jungle Our Costa Rica vacation was amazing in large part because of the magic of Nature’s Edge and the kind attentiveness of Keith and Joe. The jungle treated us to a symphony of nature sounds every evening—simply stupendous. Breakfasts were delicious and the casitas are comfortable and spacious. We stayed 8 nights and I would have loved a few more. The hotel is conveniently located to beautiful beaches and to the town of Uvita but you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle. Thank you, Keith and Joe. We can’t wait to come back.

8 nights of jungle bliss! I don’t even know where to begin. The Nature’s Edge is paradise. It is nestled high up in the canopies and my favorite part of the day was sitting on my casita deck watching and listening to the jungle. Breath taking. Keith and Joe have created an Uvita gem. I cannot wait to go back. We stayed 8 nights and I would stay even more. It is a perfect combo of beach and jungle experience. The design of the hotel is gorgeous and every detail touches. I Love the bedding, pillows and sheets. Luxury. I had two massages on my casita deck and Keith and Joe arranged all bookings and excusions. Their ideas of the best beaches and restaurants was so so key. The breakfasts were also a real treat and the whole vibe of the Nauture’s edge is serene and in alignment with the surrounding beauty of the Uvita jungle. Pura Vida!

Nature's Edge was the final stay on our trip, and I'd say we definitely saved the best for last! Keith and Joe are absolutely wonderful hosts, and fantastic cooks! My husband and I are vegan, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The area surrounding the hotel is so beautiful, you could easily spend the whole day just relaxing by the pool and taking in the views. Would absolutely recommend Nature's Edge to anyone, we can't wait to go back one day!

Nature’s Edge exceeded our expectations with high quality service and an amazing place to hide away in the jungle! Keith and Joe are amazing hosts, they go out of their way to meet your needs and help you with your adventure plans. The breakfasts were amazing especially the banana pancakes and quiche! We saw toucans and coati from our jungle overhanging deck! The casitas are immaculately clean and have everything you need. So very peaceful and a wonderful place to recharge.

We had a wonderful stay at Nature’s Edge. Keith and Joe are the best hosts. So helpful, sweet and kind. They made us feel at home straight away. The casita we stayed in was amazing. Clean, spacious, it had a great bed and it was so nice to sit outside on one of the rocking chairs to enjoy the view. It was also an amazing experience to wake up with the sounds of all the animals living in the jungle. Every morning a delicious homemade breakfast was served. We loved it! Especially Joe’s banana bread. And after a long day, the pool area is the perfect place to relax. Our stay at Nature’s Edge was definately one of our highlights and we would love to come back one day.

Nature’s Edge was by far the most amazing accomodation we’ve ever stayed in. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, seeing coati’s and toucans, hearing monkeys on our balcony: it was nothing but paradise! The accomodation is clean, you can make dinner on the terrace near the beautiful pool, breakfast was delicious and Keith & Joe do everything to make you feel at home. ||Pura vida!

Loved every minute! Our first stop in Costa Rica was Natures Edge. We loved everything about our 4 night stay. Joe and Keith were awesome hosts and we really enjoyed getting to know them. The homemade breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the day. The property is beautiful and we saw many Tucans and other birds. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. You do need a 4x4 to get to the property but that was part of the fun! Great location and a great value. We hope to be back and would stay longer. Thanks Joe and Keith for a wonderful stay!

We were a group of four, had two bungalows, and we really enjoyed our stay. So much close to nature and the jungle. That 😀 - Location, rooms, and what is most important - hosts, who are truly wonderful people, willing to help in any possible way. A beautiful place with amazing hosts surrounded by jungle views! Nature’s Edge exceeded our expectations with high quality service and an amazing place to hide away in the jungle! Keith and Joe are amazing hosts, they go out of their way to meet your needs and help you with your adventure plans. The breakfasts were amazing especially the banana pancakes and quiche! We saw toucans and coati from our jungle overhanging deck! The casitas are immaculately clean and have everything you need. So very peaceful and a wonderful place to recharge.

Natur pur bei individuellster Betreuung durch Eigentümer 😀 - Tolle , individuelle Atmosphäre mit perfekter Betreuung durch die Besitzer Keith and Joe. An jedes Detail ist gedacht. Nur 4 Häuschen. Adults only. Pool schwebt über dem Regenwald mit Traumblick bis zum Pazifik. Alles ist mega gepflegt.Beim Morgenwalk sind mir Tukane und ein Nasenbär begegnet, die Walflossensandbank von Uvita ist perfekt auf dem Weg zur Lodge zu sehen. Frühstück jeden Tag anders und perfekt serviert. Jeden Morgen wurden Tulkane in den Bäumen gesichtet, selbst von der Dusche. Die Besitzer stehen mit allen möglichen Tipps zur Verfügung und mit Pillen gegen Reisekrankheit wurde auch die empfohlene Whalewatching Tour ein voller Erfolg. Insgesamt ein Highlight unserer Rundreise. Am Pool ist von Handtüchern über Spiele, über Sonnenschutz alles vorhanden. Der Pool hat einen Sitzbereich, perfekt für einen Drink, den wir am Nachmittag dort auch immer genossen haben. Die offene Küche am Pool kann jederzeit genutzt werden. Danke an Keith und Joe dass wir ihre Gäste sein durften. 😞 - Steiler, jedoch gut befestigter Weg zur Lodge. Nur mit 4x4 zu bewältigen. Aber das weiss man ja vorher und wird je häufiger man fährt immer einfacher.

Pura vida to the fullest Nature’s Edge was by far the most amazing accomodation we’ve ever stayed in. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, seeing coati’s and toucans, hearing monkeys on our balcony: it was nothing but paradise! The accomodation is clean, you can make dinner on the terrace near the beautiful pool, breakfast was delicious and Keith & Joe do everything to make you feel at home. Pura vida!

Magical experience that you will never forget when you visit beautiful Uvita! 😀 - Everything at Nature's Edge was fantastic! The place was so beautiful and relaxing, the view from our balcony was spectacular, place was super clean and so well laid out, the outdoor community kitchen was awesome and our hosts were the best (thanks so much Keith and Joe!). We also loved our breakfast buddy Louie 🙂 Keith and Joe have made their place a sanctuary of relaxation. It is really close to the small town which was great too. We loved Uvita and Nature's Edge made it even better. P.S. Listen when they say you need at least an AWD vehicle...not at all an issue but gives you piece of mind to have it especially if it gets wet. Awesome experience! 😞 - None

Fabulous views and entertaining wildlife in the forest We got a very warm welcome from our hosts Joe and Keith who were very helpful with advance information with precise directions and kept us informed with useful advice and updates when unforeseen problems caused a problem on the road. The accommodation was fabulous with lots of attention to detail (charging points, insect repelling candles, etc). Breakfast by the lovely pool was a real treat with great freshly-cooked food and a convivial atmosphere. We enjoyed watching the antics of the coati from the rocking chairs and hammock on our balcony as well as spotting hummingbirds and listening to the sounds of the forest. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitos and other bitey-beasts! Thank you for an amazing and relaxing stay - everything we wanted and more.

The best hospitality experience The best hospitality, the highest quality accommodation - in the middle of nature. The name "Nature's Edge" says it all. The hosts do their job with passion and dedication. The breakfast is really delicious. Wonderfully designed bungalows with lots of privacy and stunning views. Very stylishly furnished and very clean. Despite the supposed remoteness, you can be in the village by car within a short time, where there are restaurants and shops.

Highly recommend Joe and Keith’s 5 star Boutique Hotel. Our stay at Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel did not disappoint. A friend who previously stayed there recommended them. They have a king size bed, my husband and I lost one another. The morning view from the bed is breathtaking. They have ceiling fans inside and out as well as screens to keep the few bugs out. Joe and Keith were great hosts. Each morning they served fresh homemade breakfast, interacting with each guest to ensure their dietary needs were met. They were very helpful with suggestions of daily activities, restaurants and attractions. The place was easy to find because it is clearly marked with signs with arrows. Thank you Joe and Keith for making our stay memorable delight.

Surrounded by fabulous views and immersed in nature. Our 4 night stay at Natures Edge was the perfect end to a wonderful holiday in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. We stayed in heliconia overlooking the jungle, so many sights and sounds, a true immersion in nature. Keith and Joe are the very best hosts, so friendly, kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The casitas was sparkling clean and bed linen, towels etc the highest quality. What a Gem! We were so happy to have discovered this wonderful place. We stayed in the Aracari casita, which we loved—very private with wonderful views of the jungle. We loved waking up in the morning to the sounds of howler monkeys. The casita was very modern and nicely decorated. It was nice to have a kitchen. Some snacks were kindly provided, as well as a fresh pineapple that was the best I’ve ever eaten. We ate our dinners on our balcony watching the monkeys and toucans—better than the view from any restaurant. Joe was incredibly helpful with some issues we had, giving us great advice. He prepared great breakfasts. He and Keith are incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. We also really enjoyed talking to the other guests who were very interesting. The small number of casitas also means the place is quiet and feels very intimate. Staying at Nature’s Edge was the highlight of our time in Uvita!

Book this stay! 😀 - Best place we have been in CR. At the top of the rainforest. Toekans and other great birds just in front of the tree before our balcony. Great hosts who serve a perfect breakfast. When you shower you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Don’t worry about the road, with 4 x 4 it is not difficult. 😞 - Maybe a bit too much messages before the start of the stay.

There’s boutique and there’s Boutique I’m not sure what else I can add to previous reviews except to confirm they’re all spot on. From reassuring me on car hire to providing beach chairs - Joe and Keith have thought everything through. Such attention to detail. Was lovely to have the chance to chat to them both at breakfast time. Joe’s a great cook and Keith is very attentive. They are both such natural hosts - nothing scripted. They clearly love what they do and they do it very well. Have spent a month in CR in about 10 places - some a lot more expensive… Tbf we didn’t see much wildlife from the balcony - wrong time of year maybe - and the cicadas were deafening but there’s no doubt this takes no 1 spot all round on all counts. Keep up the good work ☺️

Zkrátka bravo! 😀 - Toto místo je mimořádné v každém detailu. Majitelé zde vytvořili kousek ráje na Zemi. Příjezd sem není úplně jednoduchý, 4x4 je ale naprosto v pohodě. Zvládnout se to dá i na motorce, ale dolů to chce zkušenosti. Je to fakt krpál, takže nezkušeným motorkářům zásadně nedoporučuji. 😞 - Tady si musí vylámat zuby i ten největší hnidopich…

The room offers a unique view of the wilderness, from the terrace you can listen to the sounds of nature and watch the animals. The room was beautiful, clean and absolutely comfortable. The owners are very nice and kind people who love their work. They take the utmost care of their guests and give them all the comfort you are looking for as a guest. The breakfasts are very tasty and the pool is pleasantly refreshing. The omnipresent nature provides tranquility. Sometimes I definitely want to return to this amazing place.

Traumhafter Ort - liebevolle Gastgeber Im Dezember 2023 durften wir für 3 Nächte bei Keith und Joe zu Gast sein. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment in die wundervoll gestaltete Anlage verliebt. Die Bungalows bieten hohen Komfort und sind sehr durchdacht und mit vielen funktionalen Details eingerichtet. Von der Lodge hat man wundervolle Ausblicke sowohl über den Dschungel als auch Richtung Meer. Man kann vom Pool aus viele Vögel und Tiere beobachten und Tukane kommen gerne in nahegelegene Bäume. Wir wurden herzlich Willkommen geheißen und während des gesamten Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Keith und Joe sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die für uns wertvolle Informationen und Tipps hatten und auch Ausflüge organisiert haben. Das täglich wechselnde liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück war neben den herrlichen Sonnenaufgängen ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Das Nature‘s Edge Boutique-Hotel war unser absolutes Aufenthalts-Highlight während unserer 3-wöchigen Rundreise. Hier haben wir uns am wohlsten gefühlt und einen Aufenthalt bei Keith und Joe können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen – dann aber definitiv länger. 3-4 Nächte lohnen sich im Minimum in diesem Paradies Es wurde eigentlich schon alles gesagt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt und die Gastgeber sehr sympatisch. Die Einrichtung der Caritas ist sehr durchdacht und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Den einzigen Fehler, den Sie machen können, ist ein zu kurzer Aufenthalt. Bleiben Sie zumindest 3-4 Nächte. Die vergehen wie im Flug!

The perfect place Amazing place! My favorite hotel in Costa Rica. The casitas are really nice and perfectly clean, the owners are very friendly, welcoming and caring about their guests. The view on the jungle is wonderful, we even had the chance to see many tucans from the pool. It is well located to visit the Marino Ballena National Park. I definitely recommend this place that it’s hard to leave!

Off the charts on beauty and service! We had a fabulous stay at Nature’s Edge. Our hotel hosts were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. We loved having our own little casita with beautiful views in all directions. If you are planning a trip to Costa Rica, book here first and then add to your itinerary. Joe and Keith provided a wealth of information on tours, day trips, restaurants, car rentals, etc. We would have saved a lot of time if we would have started with Nature’s Edge. It’s the perfect retreat after a day of exploring or spending time at the beach. We hope to return soon!

Ein Traum im Grünen! 😀 - Dieser Ort ist ein Traum!! Die Casitas sind wunderschön in den Bergen gelegen. Nach der etwas holprigen Anfahrt wird man mit einem traumhaften Ausblick belohnt. Allrad ist auf jeden Fall notwendig, die Straße ist jedoch gut zu befahren. Die Temperaturen sind wesentlich angenehmer als an der Küste, allein deshalb lohnt sich die Fahrt. Keith und Joe sind wundervolle Gastgeber und lesen einem wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Die Casitas sind liebevoll eingerichtet, super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Outdoor Küche und der Poolbereich sind der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir waren 5 Nächte am Ende unserer Reise dort und würden das auf jeden Fall empfehlen. So hat man genügend Zeit die Umgebung und unterschiedliche Strände zu erkunden, einen Tag am Pool zu relaxen und alle Restaurants der Umgebung auszuprobieren. Die schönste Unterkunft die wir auf unserer 3-wöchigen Reise hatten. Keith and Joe are just wonderful hosts that have thought about every single details to make your stay fully relaxing.The cabinas have a high standard comfort and bedding, with a wonderful view from the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped too. The pool and its view on the mountains / seaside is absolutely beautiful, truly inspiring. The property has great nature and wildlife around to offer. In 2 days we got to see some tucans, colibris, white-face monkeys, a coati. That’s without naming all the lovely sounds you can hear at night! Besides the great comfort and the relaxation feeling of the place, we have to highlight the warm welcoming of the hosts. Keith and Joe make you feel at home in a second. Their communication is just perfect, by giving you all the info in a detailed way you would require to have a great stay. The area offers various quality restaurants, supermarkets. Many great natural parks are enjoyable within a reasonable driving distance. Keith and Joe’s place can definitely be an anchor point for people who wants to visit for many days the South Pacific part of Costa Rica. 😞 - There is literally nothing to dislike about the place. We unfortunately had to leave too soon. In my opinion, it requires at least 3 nights to be fully appreciated. To just hang out and relax at the hotel can quickly become the plan of the day.

Der Pool mit der offenen Küche war super. Wir haben es sehr genossen, abends dort noch etwas zu kochen und die Zeit zu verbringen. Keith und Joe sind sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Alles war perfekt. Falls wir mal wieder nach Costa Rica kommen, dann bestimmt hierher.

Phänomenal 😀 - Diese Unterkunft liegt abseits vom Tourismus in einer atemberaubenden Landschaft. Unsere Gastgeber Keith und Joe haben dort oben ein Paradies geschaffen und nehmen jedem Urlauber auf Abhieb den Stress. Die Unterkünfte sind sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Ein großes, sehr komfortables Bett mit direkter Ausrichtung zur Natur erwartet einen. Morgens bekommt man ein Homemade Frühstück welches einfach nur lecker ist. Die beiden Gastgeber sind so herzlich und geben einem Tipps was man tagsüber unternehmen kann bzw. wo man gut essen gehen kann. Man fühlt sich dort wie zuhause. Unbedingt mehr als zwei Nächte einplanen. Für uns war es die schönste Unterkunft 🥰. Die beiden haben mehr als eine 10 verdient. Sehr zu empfehlen! 😞 - Bei dieser Unterkunft gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Einfach perfekt.👌

Paradise in the Uvita hills! 😀 - We arrived with very high expectations having read the reviews but they were more than met during our two night stay at the end of our fortnight in CR. Joe and Keith are excellent hosts who have clearly worked very hard to create a little slice of paradise up in the hills outside Uvita. The casitas are beautifully appointed - incredibly comfy bed, excellent shower, small but functional kitchenette, lovely terrace + hammock, etc. The finish was a high standard and there were several thoughtful touches. The view was beautiful. The shared terrace is a brilliant feature which adds great value to the experience. Joe cooks up a mean breakfast in the morning and the pool area is the perfect place to relax during the rest of the day. With only four casitas it feels very quiet and restful. We enjoyed seeing the toucans in the poolside trees every day. We didn't have a car but we had no problem getting a 4x4 taxi from Uvita ($20+) and even walked down to the waterfall one morning (doable if you don't mind a hot hike back up!). The food delivery service was a little pricey but very handy indeed! We would recommend Nature's Edge to friends and family and will certainly go back if we return to CR. Thank you Joe and Keith for the perfect end to our trip! 😞 - Nothing. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Joe and Keith work very hard to ensure that everything is top-notch. This is one of the best Booking experiences we have had anywhere in the world.

Amazing It's the most magnificent place we have ever been to. It's a bit like paradise. An absolut must when traveling down the pacific coast. The host Keith and Joe are extremely sweet and they are full of information about where to go and what to do above and below Uvita. If we would ever travel around Costa Rica again they would definitely be on our list to stay. We where there for three nights but could have stayed there longer. You get to see a lot of animals up there, enjoy an amazing view and have a terrific breakfast home made and fresh every morning. For us the best place ever. ☺️

Absolutely incredible 🤩 Amazing views, really high up in the mountain, surrounded by the jungle, incredible wildlife, brilliant hosts (which made the amazing effort of making us vegan breakfasts from scratch every day), really clean, amazing bed/pillows not to mention one of the best shower views anyone could ask for! Highly recommend this amazing resort. 😀 - Hosts & property exceeded all our expectations & we would highly recommend, 11/10. We loved absolutely everything! Keith & Joe we’re very caring & welcoming hosts, giving us a tour when we arrived. Very clean with exceptional attention to detail everywhere on the property which had modern amenities. Amazing views from every location on the property. Yummy breakfasts; Joe made a really tasty quiche, even the crust. It was also great that we could use their fully-equipped kitchen to make a dinner. 😞 - The road up to the hotel was challenging but not the owner’s fault because the maintenance was delayed. Definitely need a 4X4 vehicle to get to the hotel.

When can I come back?! My wife and I started our Costa Rica vacation at Nature's Edge and it set the bar HIGH. Keith and Joe are phenomenal hosts, cook up a delicious (and included) breakfast and had tons of great recommendations for activities around Uvita and Dominical. The room itself, we stayed in Aracari, is a standalone casita and immaculately appointed. The view from the deck is nothing but jungle and mountain range - truly a tropical paradise. The breakfast area is in front of the pool which also has an unencumbered view of the jungle. You could easily spend all day just relaxing poolside and you'll likely see Toucans and a few other local animals around the property. Thanks for an incredible stay Joe and Keith!

Die gemütlichste und best ausgestattete Unterkunft unserer Reise durch Costa Rica 😀 - Schöner kann man in Uvita sicher nicht wohnen. Die Gastgeber Keith und Joe kümmern sich verantwortungsvoll und liebenswürdig um ihre Gäste. In der Casitas ist alles perfekt durchdacht und eingerichtet. Tolle und sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft im Bereich Uvita. 😀 - Die beiden Gastgeber lesen dem Gast förmlich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Im Bungalow standen hervorragender Kaffee zum selber zubereiten und ein riesengroßer Ananas bereit. Der Blick von der Terrasse über den Regenwald bis zum pazifischen Ozean war spektakulär. Das leckere Frühstück wurde vor den Augen der Gäste mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der tolle Pool lud jeden Tag zu einer Abkühlung ein. Die im Vorfeld mehrfach kommunizierte Empfehlung, mit einem Allradfahrzeug anzureisen, sollte man Ernst nehmen. 😞 - Nichts.

Paradise on Earth Everything was just perfect in this small paradise on earth! We stayed in the Aracari casita and had a phenomenal view into the jungle with tucans, monkeys and other animals. It is very quiet, the casita is arranged very lovely and everything is clean - a perfect time in a perfect place! Keith & Joe are very kind and helpful - the perfect hosts!

Perfect combination of privacy, luxury and wildlife watching Absolutely perfect place! Our room was spotless and we could see a lot of different birds and other wildlife from our balcony. Joe and Keith made our stay amazing with their kindness and attention to details. We stayed 4 nights and spent two full days in our apartment because it was just so perfect. The pool is awesome, the breakfast was very delicious. I wish we stayed longer.

Exceptional! Casitas (aka cabins) glued onto mountainside with awesome views from balconies over mountains and forests, rooms well equipped, stylishly decorated and very well thought out with some nice touches. Pool area and covered shared kitchen has stunning views too, pool warm, sunbeds for lounging, chill area. Toucans in trees a few metres away from balconies, loads of crested guans on same trees between first light and sunrise, hummingbirds and butterflies for breakfast, many other birds, occasional coati wandering through grounds. Good breakfasts, eggs freshly prepared by Joe, bottomless coffee. One of our favourite stops in Costa Rica, would definitely return. Few extra tips - The warning about needing a 4x4 is not an idle threat but as long as you have one it's not a particularly difficult drive up the hill - Breakfast is at a fixed time, 7:30, because all guests are served together. If this doesn't suit the kitchen is always available earlier. - Try the Tribu restaurant towards the bottom of the hill for some excellent local fare

Exceptional 😀 - Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, weit abseits der Straße und doch ist man in wenigen Minuten in Uvita (5-10). Wer einen Allrad hat, kommt die Straße gut hoch. Keith und Joe sind super herzliche Gastgeber und haben sich ein Paradies aufgebaut. Vorab erhält man alle wichtigen Infos und bei Fragen sind die beiden sofort erreichbar. Sie plaudern gern mit den Gästen beim Frühstück, haben tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants und haben unseren letzten Tagen in Costa Rica nochmal das "i-Tüpfelchen" aufgesetzt. 😞 - None

Der Standard ist wirklich sehr hoch und man ist mitten im Dschungel und hat trotzdem alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren für 2 Nächte dort, wären aber gerne noch länger geblieben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und dann ein bisschen länger bleiben. 😞 - Da gab es nichts 🙂

Exceptional 😀 - Joe and Keith were so fun to be around and they provided us with every information. In addition, they made us breakfast every day before their usual time because we had trips early in the morning. It was a nice experience. Sadly, we couldnt stay longer.

WOW!! 😀 - Es war wirklich die beste und schönste Unterkunft unserer 3-wöchigen Costa Rica Reise. Keith und Joe sind unbeschreiblich tolle Gastgeber, die an jedes Detail in der Unterkunft gedacht haben. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind sehr hochwertig, das Bett sehr bequem, die Zimmer mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Zudem sind die beiden unglaublich aufmerksame Gastgeber, die helfen wo sie nur können, ehrliches Interesse zeigen, schnell auf Fragen eingehen und sehr leckeres Frühstück vorbereiten. Eines der größten Highlights der Unterkunft ist die Ausblick vom Balkon aus und auch vom Bett, wenn man morgens aufsteht. Auf dem Balkon vor unserem Balkon konnten wir Tukane, Kolibris, viele andere Vögel und einen Nasenbären beobachten. Man ist wirklich über dem Dschungel, sodass es tatsächlich keine Moskitos gibt. Diese Unterkunft kann ich mir Wärmstens empfehlen und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!!! 😞 - Nichts!

Geweldige accommodatie op een fantastische locatie Geweldige locatie midden in het oerwoud met veel dieren. Vriendelijke gastheer die ervoor zorgt dat alles tot in de detail geregeld is. Heerlijke bedden, lekker ontbijt, fijn zwembad, gewoon helemaal top! Je hebt wel een 4x4 nodig om er te komen, dat wordt ook duidelijk van tevoren aangegeven. Voor ons een dikke 10! Unieke ervaring!

Unglaublich tolle Unterkunft mit schöner Aussicht Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur wunderschön. Alles ist komplett durchdacht und sehr stilvoll. Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Uns hat es an gar nichts gefehlt. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig zu Beginn, aber problemlos. Das Frühstück und der Pool waren toll.

Een stukje hemel op aarde Wat een prachtige plek!! De eerste keer de berg oprijden is een uitdaging maar als je vanuit het prachtige huisje het terras oploopt moet je wel even stil staan om alles wat je ziet en hoort in je op nemen. Prachtig! Qua verblijf is aan alles gedacht, zowel in je casita als bij het elke dag opnieuw vers bereide ontbijt, de buitenkeuken die je mag gebruiken en bij het zwembad. Joe en Keith hebben een stukje hemel op aarde gecreëerd.

Lugar especial y espectacular 😀 - Las vistas son impresionantes , te podrias quedar horas y horas en la terraza admirando su paisaje. Que te vengan unos tucanes al arbol de delante o ver un pizote comiendo del arbol es una maravilla. Desde la misma cama ( muy comoda y grande) ves esas vistas. Además todo está al detalle, moderno y muy cuidado. Ellos son encantadores y hacen un desayuno muy bueno y elaborado. Sin duda si volviera a costa rica volvería a estar unos días alli. 😞 - todo me gustó

Lugar idílico 😀 - Habitaciones grandes, muy limpias y con una cama extra grande muy cómoda. Las vistas desde cualquier punto son espectaculares y el lugar es muy tranquilo. La cocina dispone de todo lo que puedas necesitar y más y la ducha tiene una presión fantástica. El personal es extremadamente atento, muy detallista y cercano.

Mooiste, beste en meest memorabele locatie van 3 weken. 😀 - Voor onze 2e en laatste stop in Uvita zochten we iets speciaals wat iets meer mocht kosten. Met een gemiddelde 10 verwacht je veel, maar we werden zeker niet teleurgesteld. De locatie en de hosts overtroffen de verwachtingen ruimschoots. Goed ontbijt hadden we al vaker, dus dat was naar verwachting. We sliepen ook perfect (airco is op deze hoogte niet nodig) en we genoten van de twee onderste huisjes die we samen met onze zonen hadden. Je wilt ook nergens anders eten met zo’n complete keuken ! Ook voor onze zonen was deze locatie de mooiste, beste en meest memorabele van 3 weken rondreizen in Costa Rica. 😞 - Alles was perfect

Dream above the canopy at Nature’s Edge 😀 - We can honestly stay that we loved everything at Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel, our stay there was perfect. To start with Keith and Joe were very responsive and they helped up book a whale tour in Uvita. The explanation to arrive by car at the hotel was very clear and we made it without any problems but you need a 4 wheel drive. Joe welcomed us and showed us to our little ‘casita’ which was beautiful, built above the canopy with a breathtaking view. We had a very comfortable bed, great bathroom, little kitchen area and a separate toilet (nice touch!) and a gorgeous balcony with rocking chairs and a hammock, so relaxing! A short walk and there was the pool area with another stunner of a view and a communal kitchen where we could cook our dinner (or order in) and chat with other guests (we made friends). At 7.30 everybody would have an excellent breakfast cooked by Joe. That breakfast was so good and kept up going all day! Keith and Joe are so lovely and friendly, you can tell they truly care - Thank you! 😞 - Nothing

Echt fantastisch! 😀 - Keith & Joe, waren echt fantastische hosts, zij maken het verblijf echt af en willen alles voor je doen. Het uitzicht van je casita is fantastisch, we hebben vele vogels gespot en de toekans regelmatig voorbij zijn vliegen. En als extra; de bedden waren heerlijk!

AMAZING AWARD WINNING BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN UVITA, Costa Rica What can be said about this hotel that hasn’t already been said?! From the guest testimonials the the countless awards and top rating from these numerous organizations that evaluate hotels from around the world! Well, This was my 3rd visit to this most amazing boutique hotel. There are 4 separate casitas which offer much privacy with individual patios, each with their own view & hammock. The rooms are beautifully decorated with the elegant “jungle” feeling, like you just landed in paradise…and I really mean that. The rooms are very well appointed, exceptionally clean and updated with fine bedding, towels and a nice “kitchenette” area with a refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, etc. Then there is the rancho ( for those unfamiliar, it’s an outdoor full kitchen). Guests are able to cook with a state of the art gas stove/oven and BBQ grill. All the dishes, pots & pans are available to use. Not only is the rancho great, but Joe & Keith provide an amazing breakfast every morning. Joe is an outstanding cook and his breakfast is not to be missed. He creates local favorites to pancakes (he even added M&M’s to mine one time in the shape of a smiley face) It was awesome! (FYI… I’m over 60) The views are spectacular. The hosts are amazing! And the area has lots of great activities. You can’t miss the Whale’s Tale at low tide. I can’t wait until I can make my 4th trip later this year!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Paradis tout simplement 😀 - Un véritable paradis. Chambre magnifique avec terrasse et vue au-dessus de la canopée pour voir toutes sortes d’oiseaux et animaux des arbres. Accueil génial des propriétaires, possibilité de se faire livrer des plats, c’est vrai que l’accès est difficile, très très pentu. Mais quand on y est, on n’a plus envie de bouger 😞 - Rien

Perfect stay! We werden hartelijk welkom geheten door de gastheren. Beiden waren erg vriendelijk. De kamer was erg netjes, met voldoende frisse lucht en een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Er zijn horren voor de ramen, zodat je geen last hebt van ongedierte of muggen! Er werd elke ochtend heerlijk voor ons gekookt door de eigenaren en ze hebben ons veel verteld over mooie plekken, de dieren en eventuele tours. Vanaf ons balkon hebben we meerdere toekans gezien en onze buren hebben zelfs neusberen gezien. Een super relaxte tijd in een prachtig verblijf! Wij raden dit iedereen aan!

Een paradijs in Costa Rica ☀️ 😀 - Wat een prachtige locatie! Het huisje waar je verblijft is super schoon, luxe en midden in de jungle (mét uitzicht op een boom vol toekans). In de avond zie je de mooiste luchten. En in de nacht slaap je met jungle geluiden. Het was ook fijn dat we zelf konden koken in de keuken waar alles beschikbaar was. Daarnaast zijn de eigenaren zijn super gastvrij en betrokken. Ze hebben ons voor onze honeymoon zelfs verrast met champagne en chocolade. Dit was de beste plek van onze hele reis! We had the best week at this property. It’s centrally located to everything you will want or need. we will be back! 😀 - This property is so beautiful. The view from our casita was phenomenal and is very secluded. We saw a ton of wild life from our balcony including toucans, a whiteface monkey and tons of other birds. The hosts are amazing and will make you feel so special.

Fantastic Place This is a lovely place to stay in the hills above Uvita - a great 4 wheel drive to get up there but totally worth it! Our room looked over the mountains with cloud rolling down them at 5am. With our balcony being at the same level as the tops of several forest trees, the views we had of amazing birds, including Aracaris & woodpeckers each morning was amazing - perfect for photography. Joe & Keith could not have been more welcoming or friendly & we really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend.

Best of the best. 😀 - Nature's Edge is an absolutely magical place to stay, and Keith and Joe (and Louie) are the very best hosts you could ever hope for. We had a long day of travel that included a red eye flight, a long layover, a delayed bag upon arrival in San Jose and a long drive in the rain from the airport. We were completely exhausted and starving when we arrived to Nature's Edge late, after dark. Joe greeted us immediately and told us, "Everything is about to get a lot better." And it did. He brought us delicious "leftovers" of grilled salmon and salad and a bottle of cold water from their home and told us to get some rest. The next day, Keith and Joe communicated with the airport delivery driver and helped coordinate the safe delivery of my bag. Every morning, Joe made us a wonderful breakfast, and if we had an early morning excursion, he brought us homemade banana bread and smoothies to our door before we left. Every detail was taken care of and Keith and Joe always went the extra mile and made sure our stay was perfect. We had our hearts set on an excursion to Corcovado National Park and Keith seamlessly made it happen and found us an amazing local guide weeks in advance of our arrival via email. They are just lovely humans and we really enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast and getting to know them. Louie is their resident pup and he will steal your heart. Our casita (Aracari) was beautiful and the stunning views from the balcony cannot be beat. We would wake up a little early to watch toucans, aracaris, and tons of other colorful birds playing in the trees just outside our window. We saw monkeys one afternoon as well. I could (and did) spend hours in the hammock just taking it all in and soaking up the dreamy scenery. We travel quite a bit and this is easily one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Don't hesitate, just book it! Thank you, Keith and Joe from the bottom of our hearts! We will be back! 😞 - Nothing. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Keith and Joe, the owners and hosts, welcomed us in a heartwarming friendliness that made our experience truly extraordinary.I simply L-O-V-E-D our stay,.... sleeping with the soft jungle sounds (I've slept like a baby and that's been a while :)), the yummy and healthy breakfast they made us (a la minute), the fantastic views over the mountains, the toucans that came by the tree right in front of the casitas... I could go on for a while.Keith & Joe's friendship and personalised care made us feel like cherished members of their extended family. We recently had the pleasure of traveling Costa Rica and staying at Natures Edge, Boutique Hotel, and I can't express enough how incredible the experience was. From the moment we arrived, Keith and Joe, the owners, made us feel right at home.With 5 cabins and a beautiful 360 view over the jungle canopy, we wished we could have stayed longer.Each morning, we were greeted with a delicious home made breakfast, prepared by the pool (which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains). The attention to detail and the personal touch they put into each meal was truly remarkable.This attention to detail carried over into the cabins as well; The cabin we stayed in was beautifully decorated and furnished, reflecting the charm and natural beauty of Costa Rica. Every element seemed carefully chosen, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.Being Costa Rica, the area surrounding the hotel is magnificent, natural parks, restaurants, good coffee, it’s all there.What sets Natures Edge apart from other hotels we’ve stayed at throughout the years is the genuine warmth and authenticity of Keith and Joe. As a young(ish) married couple who appreciates a touch of luxury, we often find ourselves put off by the artificial posh attitudes that often accompany it. A must stay in Uvita! 😀 - Such a wonderful hidden gem. Breakfast is delicious. Keith and Joe are such charming hosts. The casitas are serene, private and have gorgeous jungle views. The rocking chairs and hammock on the porch are perfect for a morning coffee. Such a steal at the price highly recommend!

Shangri La in Costa Rica We spent an amazing and relaxed week in late May, 2023 and loved every minute of our stay. Joe & Keith are kind, knowledgeable and attentive hosts who served us delicious and healthy breakfasts every morning, shared suggestions on what sights to see and where to enjoy great local cuisine. Our “casita” was luxurious with a back deck where the jungle’s residents would visit us each morning while we enjoy freshly brewed local coffee. The bathroom has a screen looking outward so it felt like showering in rainforest. The Costa Ricans (“ticos”) are friendly, helpful and courteous, frequently responding with “Con gusto” = “You’re welcome.” We definitely hope to return soon because there are so many other sights to see, places to visit and new experiences to have. ¡Pura Vida, Mae!sha

An amazing week in the Costa Rican rainforest. We spent the week of May 20-27, 2023 at Nature’s Edge. It was the beginning of the rainy season, so there were only 2 other couples who were there during our stay. Joe & Keith were excellent, attentive hosts who served us a delicious fresh breakfast every morning. Our “casita” was luxurious with a deck overlooking the lush rainforest where toucans, monkeys and other native creatures visited us every morning while we sipped our coffee and watched/listened to the jungle wake up. We took numerous excursions to local restaurants, national parks and the Pacific coast. It was a wonder-filled vacation that far exceeded anything we could have imagined. We will definitely come back for an encore performance in the not-too-distant future.

Wir können Nature´s Edge Boutique Hotel nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. 😀 - Traumhafter Blick auf den Ozean. In der durch ein Moskitonetz geschützten Dusche hatte man das Gefühl direkt im Dschungel zu duschen mit Blick auf Tukane und Schmetterlinge, herrlich. Sehr bequemes Bett, Fenster waren alle mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet, sodass man alle in der Nacht offen lassen konnte und quasi direkt in der Natur schlief. Sehr saubere Poolanlage und neben der kleine Kitchenette im Bungalow gab es auch noch eine große "Freiluftküche" in der man alles mitbenutzen durfte. Sehr gutes Frühstück und ausgezeichnete fürsorgliche Gastgeber die geniale Restauranttipps gaben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, vielen Dank Keith und Joe. 😞 - Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich und ohne 4WD nicht ratsam aber der Ausblick entschädigt dann vielfach.

Do not miss it when in Costa Rica! 😀 - Everything - the location in the breathtaking rainforest and mountains overseeing Uvita, the beautifully and carefully kept casitas, the amazing breakfast, the great facilities and the pool, and mostly Keith and Joe (and little Louis), who run the boutique hotel, are fantastic hosts, who made us feel like home. You'll sleep surrounded by the forest, which a surreal experience but with a sense of luxury as well. The casitas and the hotel are environmentally conscious, which is the cherry on top. 😞 - Nothing - everything was perfect.

A beautiful hotel, paired with fantastic hosts A beautiful hotel, paired with fantastic hosts. The hotel boasts beautiful views to wake up to, which you could very easily enjoy all day from the pool. The rooms are very impressive and immaculately cleaned, with everything you could ever need provided. The bed faces out over the jungle where you wake up to the sun rising above the jungle canopy. The view in itself is something I never got bored with.I love sleeping in a cold room, so Air conditioning is normally a must (which is something I normally filter by when booking stays.). The hotel doesn’t have Air Conditioning which made me initially concerned that I was going to have trouble sleeping. But due to how the individual rooms are constructed, the ceiling fans provide more than enough cool air (I actually never had it on maximum). Finally, the hosts… these guys are the perfect couple to run this hotel. They both have a true passion for the industry, with Incredibly high standards. They are both warm hearted and welcoming. We cannot thank Keith and Joe enough for their hospitality.

Tolle Unterkunft in Uvita mit super Gastgebern 😀 - Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Sehr schöne Lage mit super Ausblick von der Terrasse. Tolle Gastgeber, die sich wirklich um alles kümmern und bei Bedarf immer für einen da sind. Alles ist sehr sauber und alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden ( bis zu Kerzen und Räucherstäbchen gegen Mücken) Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist nicht ganz so einfach aber mit 4x4 gut zu schaffen und ein kleines Abenteuer. 😞 - Eine Klimaanlage wäre klasse (wir haben aber gewusst, dass es nur Ventilatoren gibt) 2 Nächte waren zu kurz.

Even before our trip began they were super helpful with car/trip recommendations and booking them for us. The area is great loads of opportunity to do amazing trips nearby - we did 3 and so we’re up most days at 6, Joe delievered smoothies and banana bread to our room at 6.30 so we didn’t miss breakfast and we enjoyed getting back and relaxing by the pool in the afternoons. The place is amazing value for money with most other accommodations on the hill costing 2-4x more for the same view. We couldn’t have wished for anything more from our first stop in Costa Rica.

perfect stay!! We stayed 3 nights at Natures Edge and our stay is easy to sum up: PERFECT!Keith and Joe designed everything beautifully with great eye to detail, you won‘t miss a thing! They prepare you a delicious breakfast every morning and are really easy to communicate with via Whatsapp. They have a lot of tips for activities in the area. The drive up is a bit adventurous, but easy enough to manage if you have a 4x4. Keith and Joe provide you with a list of restaurants where you can order from, if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel.10/10 would recommend!P.S.: They even gave us a bottle of prosecco on my girlfriends birthday as a present!

Alles mit so viel Liebe zum Detail Die Zimmer, das Nachtlicht mit Bewegungsmeldern, wenn man nachts aufstehen muss, USB Stecker, Duftkerzen gegen Insekten , Ananas zur Begrüßung..Dann der Ausblick, der einem den Atem raubt und diese Ruhe. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und lieb.

A hidden paradise 😀 - A fantastic place to escape hidden away with plenty of wildlife. Keith and Joe very hospitable. They gave us a great recommendation for lunch at a local Italian that had great food and almost our best meal of the holiday! 😞 - The only minor inconvenience is getting up the hill but then it is more than worth it.

My wife stumbled across this Amazing boutique hotel that ended up being one of best places we have ever stayed at. Joe and Keith were so hospitable and basically gave us the keys to the jungle!! The views were absolutely beautiful, the morning breakfast was fantastic. During one of our outdoor BBQ outings (by the way, the outdoor kitchen is the best), we got to witness a real jungle downpour and an earthquake. If Keith offers his advise, take it. He really knows what he is talking about lol! We really felt like family when we were there. There dog louie is great, Keith keep working with him! We will see you guys soon. Ps we will bring more good wine from Paso Robles next time! Definitely 5 STAR. PURA VIDA.

A Little Slice of Heaven! From the adventurous drive up the hill to the amazing views from our modern and very comfortable casita, Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel in Uvita is a diamond in the ruff. We spent 8 days in Costa Rica at this amazing hotel where the accommodations were clean, comfortable and very tranquil. You are able to disconnect from the world and enjoy what the jungle and Nature’s Edge has to offer. What a slice of paradise!This beautiful boutique hotel had fantastic service and the best views of the rainforest canopy. The owners, Keith and Joe (and their lovable dog Louie) are very welcoming and are onsite to help with planning tours, offer restaurant recommendations, answer any questions we had and much more. From the continuous communications – before, during and after our stay, to the daily breakfast prepared by Joe and Keith, the use of the communal kitchen to prepare lunch/dinner and drinks, to the refreshing salt water pool with amazing views, the views from our private balcony and the wild life - it was an amazing vacation!The surrounding areas have so much to offer - nature hikes, Mangrove Jungle tour, deep sea fishing, Nayaca waterfalls, multiple beaches – that you can stay at Nature’s Edge for a week instead of just a few days and take day trips. Thank you Joe and Keith for being amazing hosts and providing us with a wonderful location to enjoy our Costa Rica vacation! We look forward to coming back soon!

Your ticket to paradise! You know you have truly relaxed on a vacation when it’s time to leave and you have tears in your eyes. From the stunning views to the morning sunrises, Natures Edge provides visitors with a unique experience to connect with nature in a true Jungle setting. This Adults Only boutique hotel accommodates max 8 people in a 4 villa setting. Each villa has a kitchenette with a king size bed along with a private deck where you can soak up the morning sun or listen to the jungle sounds in the evening. Bedding is comfortable and pillows were super soft. Shower area provides an open air concept where it feel like you are showering outside. Rooms do not have a TV so you with more time to relax in the hammock on your private deck or go for a swim in the salt water pool. Natures Edge also provides guest with a communal kitchen to cook outside while enjoying stunning views. Breakfast is served at 7:30am daily where you will enjoy fresh coffee, fruit, eggs and yogurt. Owners Joe and Keith are attentive to your needs suggesting local tours, restaurants and providing knowledge on Costs Rica wild life. The only regret you will have on this vacation is that you didn’t book sooner!

Another boutique hotel making the most of what Costa Rica has to offer Yet another perfect stop for our travels through Costa Rica. After a 4 ½ km drive up the mountain east of Uvita, along a one lane at times steep dirt ‘road’ – yes a 4 x 4 is needed - one quickly realizes the drive was well worth it. A small – only four cabinas – lodging where one has the opportunity to let the sights and sounds of nature come to them. The boutique hotel is aptly named.We were awoken by howler monkeys, saw a couple of coatis, a number of birds – Toucans, Aracaris, Scarlet Macaws, and others. Hummingbirds and butterflies frequented the pool area.We had one of the lower two Cabinas – Heliconia – with a vast view over the jungle / rainforest and a great opportunity to see the birds that passed by. The Cabinas higher up apparently have views of the ocean and sunset but less of the jungle. The cabina is modern with a kitchenette and a large balcony with a couple of rocking chairs and a comfortable hammock.Between the two pairs of cabinas is the common area, the Terraza de Alma, where breakfast is served, facilities exist to cook (there are no nearby restaurants although lots of option in Uvita) if one wishes, the pool awaits, and one can relax looking over the jungle.Keith, Joe, and their beloved dog Louie live on the property. Joe is the breakfast chef while Keith focuses on guest interaction. There is one setting for breakfast, at 7:30 am. At first we thought this strange but it actually turned out to be really great as it provided an opportunity to meet and chat with other guests. Breakfast is good with juice, a fruit bowl, yoghurt, and a main egg dish with veggies and a bit of meat, and lots of Costa Rican coffee.Both Keith and Joe were very friendly and helpful through sharing their experiences.After the first drive up the mountain the road is actually not all that bad, taking 15 to 20 minutes to drive to the town of Uvita. We drove down the mountain for dinner on a number of occasions and visited nearby Belleno Marine National Park.For those who want a quiet place where they are close to nature Keith and Joe's little oasis is certainly a great choice.

Amazing ! Never have we felt so at home. Joe and Keith have thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding. The outdoor kitchen has everything we needed to make dinners. Their amazing pillows helped us sleep like babies in the comfy beds. We will definitely be back!

Natures Edge delivers A welcome sanctuary after the wilds of the Corcovado National Park and travel from this location. We enjoyed the adventurous drive from Uvita up into the mountains and are eventual arrival at Natures Edge. Truly an apt name, especially when viewed from the elevated panoramic position of the pool area.The casita that we stayed in, Mariposa affords a breath taking view across the cloud forest, from mountain peaks to the Pacific ocean. It is well appointed, with attention to detail and personal welcome touches. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the shower affords an open view across the forest.Keith and Joe are friendly, hard working hosts wanting to ensure that their guests are happy and well looked after. Perfect, perfect, perfect From the moment I contacted Keith & Joe, a year before our trip, they have been amazing. No question was too much for them.The regular updates on getting closer to our stay was also a nice touch.And once we arrived, they had gone above and beyond for us.The detail and thought that went in to welcome us was so lovely.I cannot thank them enough.The Palmas Casita was absolutely beautiful. Well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Joe & Keith provide a fabulous breakfast in beautiful surroundings. Notably Joe’s pastry was the ‘piece de resistance’.The views were stunning ….. basically there was nothing else we could have wanted.Most of our accommodation here in Costa Rica has been magnificent, but it’s the people that make it extra special. And Keith, Joe and Louis, their dog, take it to the next level.We cannot recommend this place enough.Thank you guys 😉

mooie lokatie en perfect hotel Een B & B gerund door een stel amerikanen. De 5 kamers (cabins) zijn echt uitstekend, goede badkamer, goed wifi. Comfortabel bed, keukentje en een terras met uitzicht. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in de open, overdekte ruimte bij het zwembad, alles ziet er perfect uit. De ligging boven op de berg is adembenemend maar je moet dan ook wel een kwartiertje bergop over zandwegen rijden om er te komen. Rondom zijn er veel dieren/vogels te vinden. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en communicatief.

The rooms are beautifully designed in every way for relaxation from the huge comfy bed, shower with jungle view, great little kitchenette for snacks and drinks, including a top quality coffee machine! And the natural air con really works. Again, it is all about brilliant design and getting things just right. And then you go onto the balcony..! The whole width of the room, with a hammock and 2 rocking chairs and a small washing line. But most importantly the most amazing view we've ever had. We spent a lot of time just enjoying our view, and were lucky enough to see howler monkeys, toucans, aracari, scarlet macaus a coati and lots more. The pool area was exquisite, another fantastic view, top quality loungers and chairs and the salt water (natural chlorine) pool was lovely. The shared kitchen dining area had everything you needed for self catering. Not that you need to eat much after the amazing breakfast Joe and Keith serve every day. And they get all the details spot on. Great info before you arrive and throughout the property, binoculars and other essentials to borrow if you don't have your own, beautiful lighting at night, brilliant wi fi throughout. Joe and Keith (and Louie!) create a lovely atmosphere, with a really friendly shared breakfast but as much privacy as you want. They always had time to answer our questions on everything from what to do, where to eat, to the local weather and wildlife, to the right way to make pina coladas! We wish we'd booked longer and would go back there in a second! It somehow manages to feel like the height of luxury but also feeling like home! 😞 - Having to leave!

Honeymoon Stay Staying at Nature's Edge was a fantastic way to end our honeymoon! Everything was top notch including the views, amenities, comfortable bed and wonderful hosts. The included breakfasts were fantastic and it was a great opportunity to chat with the owners and meet other guests. We did yoga by the pool in the mornings and the view was amazing.There are so many thoughtful extras included at the hotel that made our stay extra special. The hotel is conveniently located as it's close to many shops and excellent restaurants as well as the infamous whale tail/Uvita beach. Though it's close to attractions, it remains tucked away in the jungle and provides a completely peaceful atmosphere where you can easily view various birds and hear/see howler monkeys in the trees.The owners are very attentive and will go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Thank you Keith and Joe (and adorable Loui) for a memorable stay, we hope to return again soon!

Grandioser Aufenthalt - alles rundum perfekt! 😀 - Das Beste kommt zum Schluss - wir verbrachten die letzten 3 Tage unserer Costa Rica Reise in dieser zauberhaften Unterkunft und müssen sagen, es waren die schönsten! Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft schön umgeben von Grün und Tierwelt über den Baumwipfeln von Uvita. Nur wenige Fahrtminuten gibt es einige gute Restaurants und auch der Strand und Ausflüge sind gut zu erreichen. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und von hoher Qualität und man merkt, dass die Gastgeber Keith & Joe mit Herzblut und der Liebe zum Detail voll dabei sind. Die Zimmer sind super und es hat an nichts gefehlt, sogar das Frühstück variierte täglich und war immer super lecker. Der Pool und die Pool Area laden mit sauberem Wasser und bequemen Liegen zum Relaxen ein und wir konnten jeden Tag Tucans und viele andere Tiere aus nächster Nähe beobachten. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich zu 100% weiterempfehlen und möchten definitiv wiederkommen! 🙂 😞 - Dass wir nach 3 Nächten wieder gehen mussten, wären gerne noch länger geblieben! 🙁

Simply amazing! 😀 - We had an incredible (unfortunately too short) stay at this beautiful little lodge in the middle of the jungle. It was so much better than we could have had imagined. The views, the jungle sounds… fantastic. We saw a lot of animals just in front of our house, like tucans, coati and macaws, in their natural habitat. Joe&Keith were so hospitable and had welcomed us very warmly. They helped us with planning tours, gave us recommendations for restaurants and made a delicious breakfast. We loved all the little details of the casitas and the property in general: Stylish yet authentic. It was the perfect end of our Costa Rica road trip and we would love to come back one day! 😞 - Absolutely nothing

Great place, great owner, great experience! We fully enjoyed our stay from the first second we arrived. The apartments are clean, cosy and tastefully furnished. The location and pool area are beautiful and the owners put a lot of love and effort in making guests feel very welcome. The beeakfast veries every day which is good and they are very helpful with everything. We were sad to leave and will definitely recommend it and would love to be able to come back again to this beautiful place!

The most friendly and amazing place I stayed in Costa Rica We spent 15 days in Costa Rica in Feb 2023 and spent 4 days in this amazing hotel. The accommodation was the most comfortable I have been in a while, clean, beautiful and very peaceful. There was a great coffee machine and great Costa Rican coffee in the rooms. The location is great, just about 10 minutes down to Uvita with amazing beaches to visit and great bars and restaurants to try the local food. The hosts Joe and Keith are the most friendly and accommodating, lovely people! Joe cooked us a different breakfast every morning and it was delicious every time, we had a laugh every morning with both company. The swimming pool area is so beautiful, right with forest and sea view. We were woken up every morning with the sound of the birds and animals of the forest, highly recommended. We loved our time there, the other guests were so friendly too so it felt we were in our private villa. Will definitely go back.

Checks all the boxes for memorable stay! 😀 - The breakfast was awesome! It was served early and included some traditional & new breakfast items! I’ve never had carrots for breakfast before but really enjoyed them! Each day was fresh & tasty and the day we had to leave early we had a send off with fresh banana bread & smoothies! The owners are involved and organized with the tasks to run this small hotel making each person feel like family! Definitely a favourite of the 7 places we stayed in our month visit all over Costa Rica! 😞 - If the cicadas could be a little bit quieter! Lol the sound of nature is beautiful & peaceful… I learned so much about the various flora and fauna in and around this location. The various sounds become music to the ears!

Le rêve au Costa Rica Un moment fantastique et inoubliable dans la jungle de la côte pacifique du Costa Rica. Tout est vraiment bien pensé et nos hôtes, Keith et Joe sont aux petits soins. Les maisons sont parfaites et hyper confortable : on dort face à la jungle et à l’océan, on observe les toucans et ratons-laveurs, on entend les oiseaux, les singes, les insectes, pour tout dire un vrai paradis !

Everything you want to experience is right hear or near! This place checks all the boxes! Friendly people who really care that you are taken care of - like family. Close to waterfalls, hikes and the most amazing beaches: Uvita and Linda! We didn’t mind the road and were prepared with a 4 wheel drive so enjoyed going up & down.Lots of great restaurants nearby and a kitchen with everything you need to make pina coladas and a meal! They even gifted us with a pineapple! The sounds of nature was amazing and I appreciated the variety of birds that popped by and posed for photos! I think this place is exceptional and lived up to expectations.

Amazing Stay at Nature’s Edge I was lucky enough to find an opening for Natures Edge in February of 2023 and am so happy I did. Joe and Keith are so welcoming it feels like a home away from home- except more luxurious and in the jungle with an amazing view… They have thought about every single thing that you could possibly need and then provide you with even more than that, and a delicious breakfast! I already cannot wait to come back and share this gem with my family.

Nature’s Edge is AMAZING! 😀 - Nature’s Edge is AMAZING! the view is outstanding and Keith and Joe are the friendliest hosts that make you immediately feel like family. They are friendly, kind and thoughtful but not intrusive. They know how to make everyone feel comfortable, and are and willing to help with anything you need. The villas are beautiful and they have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. super comfortable beds, extremely clean and quiet, coffee and tea in your room so you can have your coffee on the deck before the complimentary breakfast is served in the pool area. The views over the jungle is amazing and changes as the light through the day changes. Being higher above the jungle was a few degrees cooler with a nice little breeze than in town and made it a wonderful relief when it is super hot. the pool is a perfect temp. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to go back! it was our favorite place out of 10 places we stayed on our month long vacation! 😞 - not applicable!

Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel is AMAZING! Nature’s Edge is AMAZING! We can’t say enough good things about it. We instantly felt at home and Keith and Joe were so warm and welcoming they felt like family. It was even hard to say goodbye. They cook delicious breakfasts and are friendly and make it easy to meet other guests at the hotel. There are only 4 villas so meeting is quite easy. They have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from the most comfortable beds and sheets to coffee and tea in your room, mini fridge, beautiful shower with quality shampoo and body wash, makeup remover, rockers and hammocks. The pool area is wonderful and has a full kitchen for cooking, and the pool is a perfect temperature. They helped us order food delivery when we wanted to stay in for dinner. When they say if you need help with anything they mean it. They even drive 30 min to pick up a guest whose car had broken down. They will also help you book adventures if desired. The view is amazing! You are high over the jungle and as the light changes, the textures of the mountains and jungles just gets better and better. It is even better than the pictures! We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

It’s not normal to be able to find this kind of style and luxury in such a wild and unspoilt piece of jungle. The hearty breakfasts were delicious and, when we left early to go on excursions, Joe made us smoothies and banana bread. Keith does an excellent job with the Nature's Edge website by providing all sorts of details about nearby activities and restaurants. 😞 - Truly, I have no complaints.

Perfect nature quiet atmosphere, petfect for honeymooners We were on our honeymoon and it was really hard to find a perfect romantic quiet spot for us, and nature edge provided all that. it blew our minds with out of expectation view of forest and ocean as well as very comfortable and quiet accommodation where you can soak in the forest; rain and nature! from our room you can hear animals in the forest, water running around on the grounds, waking up in the morning with view literally seen in movies only with clouds and mist between trees its just out of this world! When we ordered our room hosts warned us about yhe mountain climb as we didnt habe 4x4 SUV however we made it up with our SUV that is 2x4 ( toyota rush). hosts were amazing with great nature breakfast and helpful in every need of ours including booking looking adventures such as whale watching and horse back riding.Highly recommend for couples, especially honeymooners!!!

WOW - hier wird Perfektion neu definiert 😀 - Diese Unterkunft ist einfach nur magisch! Von der Kommunikation zu Beginn über den Empfang bis hin zu jedem kleinsten Detail war alles 100% perfekt. Der Ausblick von der geräumigen Terrasse in den Dschungel ist der Hammer. eine Riesen Hängematte inkl. Kissen lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Handtücher rochen so gut und frisch wie nirgendwo anders. Unsere Casita war dermaßen sauber, wie ich es schon lange nicht mehr erlebt habe. Keith und Joe waren so herzliche Gastgeber, hatten super Tipps und haben sich fast überschlagen um uns eine tolle Zeit zu bereiten. Am Pool sitzend haben wir dann auch das erste Mal auf unserer Reise Toucane und einen Ara gesehen, die eine unvergessliche Flugshow für uns hingelegt haben. alles in greifbarer Nähe, ohne Guide und Fernglas. Weniger als 10 Sterne zu geben wäre eine Frechheit. Danke für die beste Zeit in Costa Rica 😞 - Nach dieser Unterkunft ist man erstmal versaut für alles was danach kommt 🙂

Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel, Uvita Costa Rica What an amazing, quiet place in the jungle up in the mountain, Overlooking the ocean. The Mariposa cabin had an ocean view. Rooms are spacious, lovely done, very clean and Smells great. Nature is incredible, the sound of the jungle , you have to experience for yourself. The hosts Keith Foley and Joe Studer are amazing, they are very friendly, help you with your trips and serve a great bfast every morning. The cabinas are a 5 Star Hotel. You will want to add more nights to your stay! Highly highly recommend a stay at Natures Edge. Accommodations are clean and comfortable. Great WiFi. Joe and Keith will take great care of you and can offer many restaurant & activity recommendations. Best communications I have experienced with a hotelier! Natures Edge has everything you could want including communal kitchen and pool + daily toucan visit. We got to know several of the other guests and enjoyed that part of our stay very much. The surrounding area has much to offer: nature hike on to Corcovado National Park, pontoon boat nature tour, waterfall and multiple beaches. Villa Vanilla spice tour just hour away. Very much worth a week’s stay rather than just a couple nights. Stay here and then take a day trip to Manuel Antonio. I especially liked that Keith & Joe try to keep the place quiet and low key. No loud music, voices or bachelorette parties! Pura vida.

Geweldig verblijf met prachtig uitzicht in Uvita Dot hotel geboekt vanwege de prachtige ligging op de berg en ontzettend mooi uitzicht. Bij aankomst ontmoette we de hele lieve gastheren die ons goed hadden verwelkomt aan het leuke zwembad. We kregen vers gesneden ananas waarna we naar onze kamer werden gebracht. Na een uitleg over de kamer konden we 2 machten genieten van de prachtige natuur vanaf ons balkon. In de ochtend werd er voor ons een vers ontbijtje klaargemaakt met een gezellig praatje met de hotelgasten en de gastheren, geweldig!Naast het goede verblijf hebben we ook allemaal tips ontvangen over de omgeving voor activiteiten, restaurants en beste plaatsen voor mooie uitzichten. We hebben hierdoor het maximale uit ons verblijf gehaald.Bedankt Keith en Joe!

Unbeschreiblich 😀 - Die erste 10 die wir jemals vergeben haben! Mein Mann und ich sind beide viel beruflich unterwegs und reisen auch privat sehr viel, bei Keith und Joe hat uns einmaliges Erlebnis erwartet. 10 von 10 Punkten Die Anlage ist klein und sehr fein. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und auch Zuhause. Liebevolle Details erwarten einen in der Wohnung und auch in der gesamten Unterkunft. Keith ist rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Man hat in der Unterkunft selbst trotzdem seine Privatsphäre. Die Ruhe hat uns genauso gut gefallen wie die perfekt ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche und der Poolbereich. Das Frühstück war liebevoll und frisch zubereitet. Perfekt macht es Keith und Joe selbst die absolute Herzensmenschen sind. Wenn Sie das Glück haben und es ist eine Wohnung verfügbar, zögern Sie nicht zu buchen. 😞 - Es war perfekt

Phenomenal experience and stay - views are out of this world! At Nature’s Edge we tasted a glimpse of what paradise really looks like. The stunning views make it the most perfect choice to stay. It is pure luxury not only with the scenic views but the pool and luxury loungers make it the perfect place to relax. The rooms are very luxurious and I’ve never had a shower with views over looking the rain forest and being fully immersed in the jungle!Joe’s hospitality was second to none. He ensured our dietary requirements were fully catered for and made us feel at home very quickly with his friendly nature. His cooking was top class and we had home made dishes which we cooked himself. This was by far the best breakfast we had beating all the other resorts we stayed at.We will definitely be visiting Costa Rica again and we will ensure to visit Nature’s Edge again as it’s been a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to disconnect from the busy world and truly experience something special and view nature at its best!

Really exceptionally good. Not just a wonderful location but also Keith & Joe's familial and cordial hospitality that leaves no detail unchecked. We planned our Costa Rica visit as a once-in-a-lifetime trip but, on the strength of our stay at Nature's Edge, we'll be back. I can't think of a single thing that would improve this place. Exceptional.

TOUT ETAIT INCROYABLE !!!Le lieux est magnifique et au calme. Vous vous réveillez avec le bruit de la jungle et une vue à couper le souffle, mais dans un confort exceptionnel ! Les chambres sont bien plus belles en vrai que sur les photos et tout est pensé pour que vous soyez détendu. C'est digne d'un 5* !Les propriétaires sont très attentionnés et les déjeuners aussi incroyables que le reste (ndlr les cakes à la banane sont à se relever la nuit) !Nous aurions souhaité rester plus longtemps ou y revenir pour la fin de notre séjour, mais il était complet malheureusement.C'est sans aucun doute le MEILLEUR établissement de tout notre voyage ! Allez-y les yeux fermés, c'est vraiment MAGIQUE et MAGNIFIQUE !

Das Zimmer, das praktisch in den Dschungel eingebettet ist, die atemberaubende Natur, das Frühstück und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, die wir so noch nie erlebt haben. Nach 2 Nächten haben wir schweren Herzens die Unterkunft verlassen. Es war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung, die wir nicht vergessen werden.

Natures Edge Boutique Hotel best ever! Only the best review is good enough for Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel nestled in the verdant Costa Rican jungle with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean! Not only do owners Joe and Keith cook a gourmet breakfast for guests each morning, they also have provided amazing decor and all amenities imaginable in their charming casitas. It says a lot that they are warm and welcoming to guests and extremely knowledgeable of the area and community, willingly sharing tips and advice on dining, tours, sightseeing, shopping and much more. Every day was paradise and we will be back!

Perfect Sibling Vacation This beautiful small hotel had fantastic service and the best views of the rainforest canopy we have ever seen. The owners were right there onsite to help us with tours and restaurants and anything we might need. What a slice of paradise!

Beautiful hotel This was an amazing hotel. The setting is beautiful, the cabins are very nice, and the owners are very accommodating. Beautiful place to spend a few days. You can watch wildlife from your porch and leave the window open all night to listen to the jungle. Breakfast is prepared by the owners and was very good.

holiday within a holiday - perfect place to relax but also lots to do close by 😀 - We loved our stay at natures edge. We stayed 4 nights and spent a lot of that time at the property because the setting is stunning and it was so relaxing being by the pool. there’s a full kitchen & bbq so we made dinner on 2 of the nights. Keith & Joe are brilliant hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. highly recommend and if we ever go back to Costa Rica we would definitely stay here again!

The perfect place when traveling solo. I came to Costa Rica with a friend but also wanted to do something for myself and get away for a couple of nights. As this was my first time as a solo traveler, I was looking for a nice, safe place. This is a hidden gem! The layout of the lodging allowed for privacy and immersion in the natural wonders of the area. Throw in the toucans, howler monkeys, and other visitors - it was the getaway in paradise I needed. Although I enjoyed my alone time with nature and my book, the layout of the main kitchen and pool allowed for time to hang out with the hosts Keith and Joe and meet the other guests. The hotel is beautiful - no question, but what really made it so incredible were Keith and Joe. From email correspondence before arriving to every last interaction with them, truly was beyond anything I have previously experienced. They made me feel like we were forever friends. And Joe’s breakfast was the best meal of the day for sure!!!! I will come back again and will be recommending it to friends and family. I always feel nervous writing a review like this because I want this to be my forever place in Costa Rica and don’t want it to get too busy, but Keith and Joe earned every bit of this review.

Exceptional 😀 - One of our all around favorite places we stayed at in Costa Rica. Keith & Joe were exceptional hosts and the property was even better than we were expecting. Our room with mountain view was perfect. Glad we had rented a 4x4 so we were able to stay here. Perfect place to stay while visiting locations, but amazing just to relax and enjoy the view all day as well.

FANTASTISCH 😀 - de persoonlijke aandacht vanaf de boeking van de hosts was voor mij echt heel goed. wij verbleven er met de kerstdagen en ik kreeg een lijst met restaurants die open waren met die dagen toegestuurd. Ook kreeg ik een lijst met mogelijkheden om activiteiten te doen toegestuurd. Ik kreeg advies hoe ik het beste naar uvita toe kon rijden en wat voor auto ik nodig had om de berg op te rijden. Het huisje is super schoon, ruim, heeft alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt en een prachtig uitzicht. elke ochtend werd een vers variërend ontbijt gemaakt door de hosts. ook beschikken ze over een grote, volledig ingerichte buiten keuken die je kan gebruiken om te koken wat wij ook 3 avonden hebben gedaan. het zwembad is heerlijk verfrissend en de ligstoelen erg comfortabel. wij wilden graag met de kerstdagen in een mooie accommodatie verblijven, dit is zeker geslaagd! ik raad iedereen het aan hier te verblijven.

Family trip to Costa Rica Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel is an awesome bed and breakfast when visiting southern Costa Rica. Keith and Joe are great hosts and excellent cooks. Make sure you have the banana pancakes!I love this spot above the jungle with the 3pm Toucans. You can’t beat the view from the pool deck. Close enough to the beach for all the tours and activities. Make sure you rent a 4x4 to get around as most roads in the jungle are steep. Keith and Joe can help you find some great adventures and great food!

Beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and have epic views! With hammocks on the terrace too. Keith and joe are hugely welcoming hosts and provide a delicious, healthy breakfast to set you up for the day. The pool area views over the jungle and down to the sea are breath taking. We could have stayed here for weeks!

A gem of a hotel! 😀 - One of the best hotels we stayed in while in Costa Rica! I don’t know where to start when it comes to describing how amazing our hosts, Keith and Joe, were throughout our stay with them. Incredibly warm, personable and helpful providing tips on the most delicious local restaurants and the best tours to do in the area. Joe personally prepared breakfast for the guests and I can honestly say it was the best we had while in the country even when staying at 4/5* hotels. The views from the property are incredible and amenities fantastic. Keith and Joe have thought of every detail in order to ensure guests have the most comfortable, pleasant and enjoyable stay while you’re with them. We only wish we were able to stay longer! 😞 - There is nothing not to like

Nature at its best and a sublime customer expetience. Simply love for life! We had a marvelous time at the Aracari house in Nature’s edge. We could just spent hours sitting on the little terrace or in the hammock looking at birds, monkeys, squirrels,.. in their natural habitat. Waking up here was such a pleasure. Beautiful patio also with salt-water pool and well-equiped kitchen. Keith and Joe are wonderful human beings. Perfect place to relax close to nature.

The casitas are wonderfully furnished, up to every little detail. You can find all the necessary amenities, nice little details and infos regarding Costa Rica and its wildlife and a pineapple as a welcome gift. There is a beautiful “community space” where you can have an amazing homemade breakfast (thank you again Joe for your tasty quiche, banana bread and your take on rice and beans) by the owners. Speaking of the owners, Keith and Joe are just simply lovely. They do not just own and run this place, there live a breath “Nature’s Edge”! Another couple staying there mentioned, that this place has a story and we can only agree. If you go to Costa Rice, make sure to stop by here. This is a place where you can relax, recharge and if you want, visit the surrounding (waterfalls, beach etc). You have privacy (own casita) with a beautiful patio/terrace/balcony, yummy breakfast, and pool with a nice chill area and on top of all of that, an amazing view, peace and quiet and to wonderful hosts. Best Hotel with the Best Hosts Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel will ruin all other hotels for you. The reasons? I’ll limit myself to 3:1. The views2. The Rooms (casitas)3. Joe and Keith1. The view from atop the mountain is utterly mind blowing, whether you’re in the pool or on a hammock. While you’ll need a 4x4 to reach the hotel (it’s a fun and do-able drive in a mid-size SUV), few feelings compare to driving down the mountain in the morning, overlooking the Whale’s Tail, imagining what your day in the paradise of Uvita has in store. All 4 of the Casitas have slightly different views and we absolutely fell in love with ours (the Mariposa). 2. There’s so much to do in Uvita and it gets hot. But after a busy, hectic, fun-filled day of Uvita activities, the serenity of Natures Edge is unbeatable. Hidden away in it’s little jungle mountain location, Natures Edge is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The rooms are gorgeous and the mountain breeze keeps everything a perfect and comfortable temperature. Our room was highlighted by a massive rainfall shower and a balcony with a hammock and a beautiful view. 3. Could you find another hotel with equivalent views? Unlikely. Could you find a hotel with the ambiance and quality of rooms offered by Nature’s Edge? It’d be tough. But you will never find another Joe and Keith. They are amazing hosts and I will be forever grateful for how special our stay was. I proposed to my fiancé (she said yes! Yay!) in Uvita and Joe and Keith went out of their way to make it special; they helped keep it a secret, plan a couple surprises for her, and brought us celebratory champagne, balloons, flowers, and a cheese board. It was fantastic. They are people who truly love where they live and want everyone to experience the beauty of their home. As a result of that care and passion, I believe it’s impossible not to fall in love with Nature’s Edge and Uvita.

You will awake to the sounds of nature all around you, toucans, monkeys and many species of birds and other wildlife. This is a photographers dream.Both Joe & Keith are available for suggestions of places to visit, restaurants to try, day trips, so you can make the most of your stay. I suggest you book a stay of multiple days. Once you visit...you will fall in love with this Wonderful piece of Paradise! I'm already planning my next visit!** Do heed the message that a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle isnecessary to travel up the mountain to Nature's Edge. A nimble, heavy vehicle handles the trip well.

Jungle Paradise in Uvita Costa Rica This is a slice of paradise tucked in the jungle of Uvita Costa Rica. The bungalows is spacious and filled with light filtered through the trees but sits in an opening in the canopy of the surrounding jungle setting with unmatched views across the expanse of jungle and ocean in the distance. Our hosts, the owners Joe and Keith, could not be more gracious, friendly and accommodating. They are simply the icing on this paradise cake. They provided extensive information on the area and things to see and do. And Joe's breakfasts, different every morning, were exceptional five star quality. The quiche was delectable, and OMG the banana bread....to die for. Uvita is a quaint and surprisingly vibrant little town and the people a delight. Restaurants galore all in a short distance from the Nature's Edge. We lunched at Don Rogers a few times for both the food and the incredible views of the Whale's Tail. You can even order takeout from many of them if you prefer to eat in. The pool Area has a large outdoor kitchen with all you could need to make your meals. The wildlife was just amazing, toucans, monkeys, hummingbirds and butterflies galore all right outside your bungalows. This is a ten out of ten experience. Thank you to both Joe and Keith for making our stay a truly unforgettable stay. Love you guys, I would definitely come back again.

Toucans right outside your balcony - Insta worthy pool with a view to die for - Yummy breakky every morning with the most amazing view - Only 4 villas in the hotel which made my stay very peaceful - Loved meeting the friendly owners Keith & Joe (and their pup Louie). They made sure I had everything I needed and made my stay extra special I cannot recommend this place enough!
