DELIVERY TO NATURE’S EDGE

• You can have food delivered here to the hotel by using one of the express services in town
• All express services only accept cash (Colones is preferred but US Dollars are accepted) by paying in colones ₡ you will get a more favorable exchange rate. Some services do not convert money well.
• Tax is 13% and Service Fee is 10%. These additional amounts may be added to your order total.
• Some restaurants charge for each to go container (usually ₡ 500 to ₡ 1000).
• Approximate delivery fee is ₡8,000 ($15)
  (It is a long way up the mountain on a motorcycle)
• All services only speak Spanish (Google Translate can be your friend)
• Plan accordingly as delivery can take 1 to 1 1/2 hours (however, sometimes it is quicker)
• Delivery services will not deliver after 8:00pm (Last order accepted at 7:00pm)
• During very heavy rain storms they may not be able to deliver until the rain slows down

Follow these tips when contacting an express service:

• Messages must be in Spanish – Google Translate
• DO NOT order using online restaurant menus – just use these as a reference
• When you click on WhatsApp link on this page your first message will pre-populate, just press enter
• If you use the pre-populated message, all you need to do next is tell them what restaurant you want to order from and what you want to order
• If you didn’t user the pre-populated message (composed your own), let them know your are staying at Nature’s Edge Boutique Hotel and then tell them what restaurant you want to order from and what you want to order
• Next, let them know where you want it delivered. To your casita (give them the name of your casita) or to the pool
• If you contact one of the services and they do not reply in 20-30 minutes try another one
• You may need to you to send a location pin in WhatsApp (Victor and Andy are very familiar with us and our location)

Deliveries of food items from restaurants may be “shook up” a little as they have traveled up the mountain road in a box on the back of a motorcycle. It is all part of the experience of getting food delivered in the jungle! No worries as it still tastes yummy and you didn’t have to leave paradise to eat!

This is our favorite of all favorite restaurants (it is listed last, only because the menus is all in pictures).
This is a must try place to eat, better in person because you can meet the owner Cindy.
