Accommodations at Nature’s Edge
You will experience “nature on the edge” the moment you drive through the gates of the hotel!
Situated on a 10-acre oasis overlooking the jungle canopies, Nature’s Edge features 4 jungle chic 500 sq. ft. casitas. Each casita includes a kitchenette, a comfy king size bed, a shower with a jungle view, private bathroom, and a balcony or patio with oversized teak rocking chairs. There are 2 casitas with partial ocean and jungle views and 2 casitas on stilts nestled above the jungle canopies with amazing mountain and cloud forest views.
Outdoor Living at Nature’s Edge
Your stay would not be complete without a visit to Terreza de Alma, the “heart and soul” of Nature’s Edge.
You will be immersed by the jungle all around you when you step foot into this outdoor oasis! Terreza de Alma is equipped with a full kitchen, BBQ, outdoor living room, and dining area. There is also a salt water pool with a luxurious coral tile deck.
You will enjoy the tranquility of the jungle while many times being the only ones enjoying the space, as Nature’s Edge is a small boutique hotel with no more than 8 guests staying with us at anytime.
The Making and Upgrades of Nature’s Edge
When originally built from the ground up in 2017, attention to detail was clearly a priority. The original owners put their hearts into creating you a home away from home environment.
In 2020, new owners took over Nature’s Edge. The new owners added some upgraded touches to make this boutique hotel even more appealing and luxurious for you.
Nature’s Edge Location
The mountainous jungle canopies of the town of Uvita, Costa Rica is where you will find Nature’s Edge.
The region is home to The Marino Ballena National Park (here you will find the popular “Whales Tail” – a natural rock and sand formation caused by the sedimentation generated by tides. You can experience a walk into the middle of the ocean during low tide.).
The entire region known as Costa Ballena is home to over a dozen beautiful beaches, as well as all the conveniences travelers need including shopping and restaurants.
Because we are located at 1200 feet above sea level, guests will enjoy cool mountain breezes in the evenings, perfect for sleeping after a day of adventure. You are sure to get a refreshing nights rest on our comfortable king sized beds with luxury linens.
We are a unique hotel option on a mountain which includes more expensive top luxury hotels. Nature’s Edge offers more affordable accommodations, while offering luxury comparable to these other hotels.
Uvita is Centrally Located on the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica
Uvita is located in the center of The Costa Ballena Region. When you stay at Nature’s Edge you are in the middle of it all! From here you can set off on a number of adventure tours and activities or just relax in the tranquil jungle canopy surroundings of the hotel. Our location is perfect for a visit to three of Costa Rica’s National Parks; Marino Ballena National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, or Corcovado National Park.
Uvita is home to many restaurants and shopping. It is the main town for the entire region which includes Dominical to the north and Ojochal to the south. These other towns have their own charm and should be visited while staying with us. Uvita however will have everything you need to make you vacation complete.
